FIBER OPTIC CABLES

UNICAB loose tube fiber optic cables/ electrical cables are designed to provide excellent environment and highly reliable transmission parameters for optimum Fibre performance. Optimum performance and life of an optical fibre is achieved when the fibre is strain free in the cable. Loose tube design provides excellent protection to fibre by allowing it to move freely inside and thus isolating it from exterior mechanical forces present on the cable.

The cable can accomodate 2 to 96 fibres and are designed to ensure continuous operations even in severe applications. A variety of jacket types are equally suitable for underground ducts, direct burials, aerial and indoor applcaitions.

UNICAB Loose Tube cables are being widely used by Department of Telecommunications and Indian Railways and are custom made to meet their specific requirements.
